Fernando go go go!
Today is an important day for formula one fans. Today we'll know who will be the world champion of the year 2006.
Fernando Alonso or Michael Schumacher? Today it will be decided.
I sure want Alonso to win (no wonder being Spanish...), and I'm sure he will.
This is what has to happen for Alonso to lose (hence Schumi to win):
Alonso ends the race behind the 8th position.
Shumacher wins the race.
There is no other option, so if Alonso just finishes between the first 8 positions, he'll be world champion by twice!
The qualification race was yesterday, bad luck for Schumacher who couldn't get a time in the last round due to problems with his car (we still don't know what happened exactly)
So these are the first 10 starting positions:
Felipe Massa, Ferrari (1st, 1m 10.680s)
Kimi Raikkonen, McLaren (2nd, 1m 11.299s)
Jarno Trulli, Toyota (3rd, 1m 11.328s)
Fernando Alonso, Renault (4th, 1m 11.567s)
Rubens Barrichello, Honda (5th, 1m 11.619s)
Giancarlo Fisichella, Renault (6th, 1m 11.629s)
Ralf Schumacher, Toyota (7th, 1m 11.695s)
Nick Heidfeld, BMW Sauber (8th, 1m 11.882s)
Robert Kubica, BMW Sauber (9th, 1m 12.131s)
Michael Schumacher, Ferrari (10th, no time)
Good luck Alonso! Don't disappoint us! Go go go!
